Wendy: Artist Statement
Purple stands for overdose awareness. In my creation, I wanted to honor and remember four people who were lost to overdose and share that they will always be in our hearts. My uncle, two of my brothers-in-law, and my brother in law’s wife were all lost. They were amazing, each in their own way, and they’re gone, but not forgotten.
