Jennifer: Artist Statement

Caring, compassion, and mental health support is needed by everyone– by those who are struggling with substance use disorder and those who are taking care of people with substance use disorder. My painting represents this mirroring experience. People on both sides need similar support. Both are impacted by our responses to this disease, on small and large scales.
