Helen, remembering her son Nick

Helen: Artist Statement 

I placed the Serenity Prayer charm right next to Nick as that was his saving grace that kept him on the path to his dreams. Nick's reflections on life seemed so much clearer when he was out on the water, hiking in nature, and being with his family who loved him very much. There is such a huge hole where Nick once stood right next to his 2 brothers. The cards we placed on Nick's casket will be forever engrained in our hearts as he taught us all so much in finding our inner strength and finally became the person he always wanted to be, a loving and loyal son and brother. What a Wonderful World is the song my brother sang at Nick's funeral. I keep finding heart rocks telling me we are still joined in our hearts, forever, until we meet again.
